About Fergus
Fergus is a founding member and Consultant at O’Regan Little Solicitors LLP with particular experience in Military Law, employment matters, administrative law and litigation.
He has a specialist practice advising and representing serving and former members of the Defence Forces on complex issues arising from the military contract of service, including disciplinary proceedings, grievances, administrative and medical discharge, promotion disputes, pay and entitlements and related judicial review proceedings.
Fergus also advises on employment and workplace disputes and represents clients in contentious matters requiring strategic litigation, negotiation and dispute resolution.
His practice combines detailed knowledge of the regulatory and administrative frameworks governing Defence Forces personnel with extensive experience of contentious proceedings, enabling him to advise clients on both the immediate issue and the wider strategic consequences of a matter.
Fergus has been involved in significant litigation concerning the rights and entitlements of Defence Forces personnel, including proceedings before the High Court, Supreme Court, and European Courts, and he has considerable experience dealing with the particular procedures and decision-making structures that apply within the Defence Forces
Fergus' experience includes:
